Inside Story

Ok, where to begin? , these past few years have had many "firsts" for me regarding the starting up of my photography business , I've always had a passion for photography but in those last important decision making years of high school it wasn't a choice for me , due to many factors mostly being lack of funds so I drifted for awhile completed some of my other life goals get married move cross country then I got a job at a local butchery climed the ladder became supervisor and put my dreams on hold, until the turning point which happened to be after my wedding when I viewed my wedding photos and realized how badly I yearned to be the one taking photos of capturing the special moments in peoples lives of making people happy and realizing it was because of the work i did, so I got my first camera ( a Nikon D5100) now don't get me wrong I have no preferences when it comes to cameras , I'm a photographer and a camera is a camera just like to a chef a stove is a stove, at the time I did my research and that camera offered everything i needed in my price range.( I would love to eventually try canon and sony etc to see how they preform)

Then I applied to two different online courses (one which offered a certificate) and worked at the butchery by day , studied by night and on the weekends tried to do as many shoots as I could, then before I knew it I completed both courses and could see how my work improved shoot by shoot , I got my second camera ( Nikon D750 ,because I was quiet impressed with the performance of the D5100) and have slowly started buying studio equipment and camera add ons , now I'm planning to get into weddings and to start up my own studio soon , I'm so excited for what lies ahead , have so many new ideas and concepts that I want to intergrate into my wedding packages, and am grateful to every single client I've helped because with out them I wouldn't be where I am now , I'm also especially grateful to my wonderful husband who has supported me every step of the way bad crits and all and my wonderful friends oh and last but never least the Lord.

I've now applied to a online photoshop course and I'm releasing this website and starting a blog (the later which I was a bit nervous about doing as I've never thought myself the social writer type)

So please feel free to ask question or comment just no harsh or over critical comments afterall I am new to all of this :)
